Exodus is a non-custodial multicurrency wallet with support for over 50 networks. Founded in 2015 by JP Richardson and Daniel Castagnoli. Exodus is available as both desktop and mobile applications, as well as a browser extension for Web3. Exodus is one of many wallets that have a very useful knowledge base and a great support team.

Exodus generates a 12-word secret recovery phrase according to the BIP39 standard. Coin Wallet meets the requirements of this standard.

How to migrate from Exodus?

1. To migrate your bitcoins from Exodus, first find your 12-word secret recovery phrase. Here's how to find it on an iPhone.

2. Log in to your existing Coin Wallet account by entering the 12 words of a secret recovery phrase from the previous step.

Completed! You can now spend bitcoins.

Derivation paths

Because Ethereum and some other coins have different derivation paths than the defaults, one additional setting is required.

1. Select Ethereum.

2. Go to the "Derivation Path" page.

3. Enter m/44'/60'/0'/0/0 and hit the "Save" button.

For other coins, follow the paths below:

  • Arbitrum: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Avalanche: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Binance Smart Chain: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Ethereum Classic: m/44'/61'/0'/0/0
  • Polygon: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • TRON: m/44'/195'/0'/0/0
